This weekend I will be hostessing a Preakness party. In honor of the Maryland race I will serve hot crab dip, shrimp with Old Bay, corn bread (hush puppies seem too ambitious) and, of course, Black Eyed Susans. What am I missing??

Well, these are more baltimore faves rather than really preakness associated... but don't forget the berger's cookies http://www.bergercookies.com/ (also in most grocery stores in md) and the Natty Boh beer
why not throw in some crudite? and maybe horse-shoe shaped sugar cookies? f
