Woah, I was just thinking today that with all the hoopla surrounding GOOP, that I should go check it out. Literally not 1 hour ago on my way to work. I'll be back with my thoughts.
Ok, I am back after a cursory look at GOOP. For starters, how can you take anything seriously with such a dumb and kinda gross sounding name? There are so many wittily-titled blogs out there. You'd think Gwynnie's publicist would have stepped in here. Second, I looked at her "Get" newsletter about the little black dress and while I liked plenty of the looks, minus that hideous Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, on no other blog do I see people engaging in such shameless self-promotion. It could have been just as effective with the clothes on mannequins. Instead, I am left with the feeling that Ms. Paltrow just loves her own long, lithe legs.
Self indulgent and narcissistic? Apparently a lot like "Twitter"?
