Do you have any suggestions on how to whitened linens that have yellowed? I recently washed some white linen napkins that came out of the washed very yellowed. They were fairly new, so I would like to figure out how to remedy the situation!

I have heard that OxyClean works -- but have not tried it myself!
I've heard that lemon juice will do the trick, but I have no idea how much or what method you'd use.
That wasn't at all helpful, I'm afraid.
I soak very old linens in a little water, hydrogen peroxide and some fresh squeezed lemon juice. Then, I lay them out on the boxwood (or very clean, slightly damp) grass in direct (very warm) sunlight.
Don't use measurements but if I had 4 napkins, I'd probably use 1/2 gal of warm water, a cup of peroxide and juice from 3 or 4 lemons. Peroxide and lemon juice applied directly to stains and allowed to sit will remove most stains.
New napkins are not always 100% cotton or linen. If they have a little polyester in them (to help keep wrinkled out), they tend to yellow in the wash and I'm not sure if the above would help. OxyClean might be the best solution for those.
